A FITNESS pro has shared her homemade KFC alternative that she ate during her weight loss journey.
The TikToker demonstrated how to make the low-calorie dish, which she said will make you feel like you're breaking your diet.
In her video, Brittany (@brittanymccrystal) explained that the meal is perfect for anyone who "loves KFC but wants to stay on track with your diet."
She told her followers: "These KFC chicken tenders will make you feel like you're cheating on your diet even though you aren't."
Brittany revealed to her audience that she lost 44 pounds on her health journey.
For the first step, she said: "Grab a bowl and throw in 300 grams of chicken thighs, sprinkle one teaspoon of onion powder and a quarter cup of hot sauce."
Brittany also poured just under half a cup of buttermilk and left it to marinate for 20 minutes.
Next, she combined the spices as she joked that the Colonel himself gave her the recipe.
Brittany used one teaspoon of each of the following spices: Salt, dried thyme, dried basil, dried mustard, and dried ginger.
She also added a teaspoon and a half of both paprika and white pepper.

For her final spice, Brittany topped it off with half a teaspoon of oregano.
She also used 25 grams of flour and 20 grams of cornstarch for the chicken coating.
Brittany explained: "Put the chicken in the seasoning until it’s completely covered.
"Pop that chicken into the air fryer for 10 minutes at 355 degrees Fahrenheit."
While the chicken was cooking, she showed her audience how to make a homemade version of KFC's Zinger sauce.
She mixed together one tablespoon of both light mayo and hot sauce, two tablespoons of ketchup, and one teaspoon of mustard.
Finally, Brittany also added a dash of pickle juice to the DIY KFC sauce.
She recommended serving the "mouth-watering" chicken with fresh coleslaw and fries.
