CUSTOMERS are mourning the days when they could once find everything on their shopping list.
Now they're forced to make other arrangements, especially at Walmart, which recently came under fire for its sparse selection of food.
Many grocery stores across America are wiped clean as each struggle to restock supplies.
Supply chain-related problems still lingering from the pandemic have left several stores across the nation barren, even years later.
And because grocers source their produce from across the world, a complicated supply chain is created, according to previous reporting by The U.S. Sun.
CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS
Shoppers are taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to press one store in particular for its barren shelves.

One customer wrote: "I sent my husband to get salad fixings and potatoes for baking for our steaks tonight. This is the selection for salads & there wasn't a single baking potatoes in the produce section either."
"So, he is going to Food Giant to get everything now," they added.
The shopper attached a photo depicting a sparse selection of salad kits on a grocery store shelf.
Walmart responded, thanking the customer and imploring them to send Walmart a direct message.

The customer responded with a picture of a blank screen that revealed Walmart would not allow her to direct message the store.
EVEN MORE
Earlier this year, another customer reached out to the store about a similar complaint.
"Walmart is everything ok?" he asked on X. "Shelves have been pretty empty or expired food has been on the shelves or refrigerated sections at most of your locations lately (or expiration dates completely wiped off)."
Walmart also responded to him, imploring him to directly message the store.
According to Walmart's website, the store "restock[s] items as quickly as we can."
It advises customers to "check the item listing for availability" online.
The U.S. Sun reached out to Walmart for comment.
LOCKED UP
Walmart customers have also run into another issue that's slowed down their shopping experience.
In an effort to crack down on soaring retail theft, the store — in similar fashion to many others — is locking up items.
The U.S. Sun previously reported on customers' gripes with locked-up goods.
Many are complaining about being treated like criminals, due to the amount of items behind glass that require the help of a store associate to retrieve and purchase.
Other shoppers are choosing to avoid stores that lock up items due to huge wait times.
