CHRISTINE Brown has revealed that her ex Kody's poor treatment of their daughter Ysabel was what led to their divorce.

The Sister Wives star opened up about ending her marriage with the Brown patriarch on Tuesday's installment of the Juicy Scoop podcast.

Christine, 51, was spiritually married to the polygamist, who also had three other wives: Meri, 52, Janelle, 54, and Robyn, 45.

Fans watched the end of their tumultuous relationship play out on screen, including the moment that Christine said solidified her decision to leave Kody, 54.

"The final thing for me was Ysabel's surgery. That was, like, done. That was like absolute, that was it," Christine told host Heather McDonald, mentioning her and Kody's 20-year-old daughter, Ysabel.

The then-teenager underwent back surgery in September 2020 to correct her scoliosis, which required her to travel out of town for several weeks.

However, her father refused to accompany her for the procedure due to the lengthy time he'd be forced to spend away from the rest of his family.

"Because he said to her, he goes, 'I can't leave my family for that long.' And afterward, Ysabel goes, 'I thought we were family. I thought he was my dad.'

"'So he can't be with us because he has to stay with his family? What does that mean? What am I?' And she was like, 'Really? What am I?'" Christine said of her daughter's reaction.

The reality star then said that was the final straw that influenced her to walk away from their marriage.

"So I was like, 'Oh, we're done.' I can't be married to a guy who doesn't respect us as his family and thinks of someone else as his family."

MOVING ON

Christine split from Kody in November 2021 after 25 years together.

In addition to Ysabel, the exes share Aspyn, 28; Mykelti, 27; Paedon, 25; Gwendlyn, 21; and Truely, 13.

Eventually, Meri and Janelle followed suit, leaving Kody with only one spouse, Robyn.

Christine soon found love again with her now-husband, David Woolley, 59, whom she briefly dated before tying the knot in October.

TLC cameras filmed their fairytale wedding in Utah, and it will air on the network next month.

David made his first on-camera appearance on Sunday's Sister Wives Season 18 Tell All, where the couple revealed their matching tattoos.

ROCKY ROMANCE

As for Kody, his marriage appears to be on the rocks with Robyn, who admitted during her one-on-one interview that she finds it difficult to be happy in their relationship.

"It feels disrespectful to be happy with Kody," Robyn told host Sukanya Krishnan through tears while discussing her former sister wives leaving the family.

"They want you to be happy with Kody; they all sat here and said, 'We want Robyn and Kody to be happy; they have a special relationship.' Christine, Meri, and Janelle has shared that with me," the interviewer replied.

"They haven't shared that with me off-camera," Robyn said, shaking her head.

Sukanya then asked if Robyn needed their blessing in order to move on with Kody, to which the TV star said yes.

"I need it off-camera to my face. It feels like it's disrespectful to his kids. It feels disrespectful to the commitments that I made," Robyn continued.

"My commitment to them, to their kids, to Kody about this family is not broken, and I don't know how to break it. I don't know how to be done with it. I don't care if people think I'm stupid."

Sukanya responded: "I don't think you're stupid. I think you're asking to have a conversation with your sister wives, and in order for you to be truly happy with Kody, you need them to release you."

But Christine made it clear that a face-to-face conversation with Robyn wasn't going to happen during her podcast interview.

"I found out last night that she wants me to go up to her verbally and say, 'You can have him,' and I'm like, 'Girl, that's never going to happen.'

"'I don't know what you're talking about.' She wants us to go say to her off camera, 'Your Majesty, you may have him now.' No, that's never gonna happen," Christine admitted.
