WE'RE all looking for budget ways to keep warm now that the temperature has dropped so dramatically.
And one woman has shared her cheap as chips way of staying nice and toasty when she's at home on the sofa - using an electric blanket.
The self-proclaimed Duchess of Thrift explained that she'd seen the blankets on sale, but wasn't impressed with the £9.50 delivery cost so headed to her local 'Big Tesco' to see if she could find one.
"I'm just getting prepared," she explained in a video on her TikTok page.
"Cheapest I've seen."
She spotted the single electric blankets for £20, and the double - which she has on her bed - for £30.

"I will save this money in droves in heating," she said.
"These cost absolute pennies to run.
"Obviously the temperature's dropped and I know the electricity and gas prices have dropped, but in reality we're not getting the £60 a month help that we got last year.
"So we're gonna be worse off this year. I'm gonna start feeling it."

She added that the blankets are likely to sell out "really, really quickly", as most places have the single ones for £30.
"Can you break down what you mean by they cost pennies to run?" one person commented on the video.
And she responded in another video, as she revealed she uses the energy calculator at sust-it.net to work out how much running a certain device costs her.
Based on the October Price Cap electricity rate, running the blanket for an hour will cost 2p.
"It's so negligible, it's tiny, compared to putting your central heating on, because you use gas and electric to fire your boiler up," she added.
"That was ridiculous last year for me. So the electric blankets are an absolute godsend."
"BIG thank you for that information," one person commented on the video.
"I personally can’t do without a electric blanket and I didn’t know it was next to nothing in cost."
"Electric blanket saves my life in winter," another agreed.

As a third commented: "I got an electric blanket and a heated throw last year, for evenings on the couch.
"Gotta say it must have saved me a small fortune last winter!!"
