Paul Joseph Chryst is an American head coach and former football player. He is currently the head football coach of Wisconsin Badgers. In his four years with Wisconsin, only four NCAA teams have scored more victories than Chryst. Chryst was a head coach at the University of Pittsburgh from 2012 to 2014. Before serving as head coach, Chryst served as Wisconsin's attack coordinator from 2005 - 2011. He also held a similar position at Oregon State University and was an assistant coach at the San Diego Chargers in National Football Federation. Chryst played college football in Wisconsin where he was known as a midfielder and finished tight from 1986 to 1988 .
