GRAND Designs fans were left distracted by a big change to Kevin McCloud's Channel 4 show.

The latest episode of Grand Designs: The Streets took place in Glasgow and followed two people setting out to build their own dream properties.

Kevin appeared in a voiceover at the beginning of the show to explain what was happening, however, he didn't appear in person until the latter part of the episode.

Instead, Scottish architect Natasha Huq presented the majority of the programme, chatting to house builders Karen and William about their very different designs.

Some Channel 4 viewers were taken aback not to see Kevin on their screens throughout the whole thing, with one writing on Twitter: "But there’s a co-presenter…it feels, Weird #GrandDesignsStreets."

Another tweeted: "A helper! This is BRILLIANT #granddesignsstreets."

A third added: "Show is so much more watchable without McCloud in it."

It isn't the first time Natasha has appeared on the show, and she also took part in Channel 4's Grand Designs: House of the Year.

Natasha is an Edinburgh-based RIAS Conservation Accredited architect.

She has over ten year's experience in the creative adaptation of existing buildings.
