DEREK Hough's wife Hayley's mom has given fans an update on the dancer's condition after she suffered a scary medical episode.
The Dancing with the Stars judge revealed earlier this week that Hayley was rushed to the hospital at the end of a tour performance.
Derek, 38, and Hayley, 29, have been traveling the country performing in the Derek Hough A Symphony of Dance Fall Tour.
They had taken the stage in Washington, D.C., on December 6 when Hayley fell ill.
In the comments of Derek's Instagram post, explaining what happened, Hayley's mom shared how her daughter is doing.
"Thank you all for reaching out with so many calls, messages, and texts. Hayley is so blessed and we can feel the outpouring of love. I'm so sorry I haven't responded. Please know that I am reading every message but need to keep my focus on my daughter's healing."

Her post continued: "We are asking that you continue to pray because it's working! She started talking to us mid-day and I don't think I have ever been so relieved in my life.
"She's a strong and mighty little thing and she's got this. Please keep Derek in your prayers as well. His heart is hurting so much."
'PRAYERS AND POSITIVITY'
Derek revealed in his post that Hayley underwent emergency surgery and is now recovering.
"At the end of last night's tour performance in Washington D.C., my wife, Hayley became disoriented and was taken to the hospital," the TV star wrote.

"She was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel and required an emergency craniectomy. She is in stable condition."
The dancer went on: "I want to thank the first responders and medical personnel who have cared for and continued to care for her.
"I ask for your prayers and positivity during this time."
Derek's sister, Julianne, 35, shared the post on her page and asked fans to send love to her family during this difficult time.
"Please pray and send all your love, healing, and light to Hayley and Derek," the DWTS co-host wrote.
"Thank you from the depths of our families heart!"
According to the Mayo Clinic, a cranial hematoma, or intracranial hematoma, is a "collection of blood within the skull" that is typically "caused by a blood vessel that bursts in the brain."
The website noted that the condition can be caused by trauma or a fall.
Symptoms can include headaches, dizziness, confusion, slurred speech, and vomiting.
SCARY ACCIDENT
Last December, Hayley revealed she suffered another terrifying ordeal that led to her being rushed to the hospital.
"On December 12, Derek and I got into a pretty scary car accident in the mountains," her Instagram post began.
"Our accident involved a steep hill, icy roads, a tree, and worst of all, the fear that we would slide off the mountain."
Hayley shared photos and videos of firetrucks arriving on the scene and of her in the hospital with cuts and scrapes on her face.
"Given the circumstances, we have so much to be grateful for. First, that there were no other people involved," she continued.
"Second, the quick response from paramedics. And lastly, that we are both okay and that I only walked away a little banged up, a swollen face, and four stitches above my eyebrow.

"Now, more than ever, we realize how fragile life is and how important it is to love those around you. We hope that everyone has a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season. XO," the message concluded.
Derek and Hayley tied the knot in August after eight years of dating.
