This is the second time the star has been a victim to a shocking rumor over his fake death.
The twisted rumors first started after a TikTok was posted in December 2022, which led fans to believe the actor had passed away.
The clip, which showed a series of images of Starkey, had the caption: “That last video is one of my favorites ever of him…genuinely so sad I’ll never meet/know him.”
The video quickly racked up a huge number of views in a matter of hours as fans misread the caption and assumed that Drew was dead.

The 30-year-old was born in Hickory and attended college at Western Carolina University, where he studied theatre and English.
